Junior School Conducted Health Awareness 2009 Junior School Celebrated Rabindra Jayanti Programme
Junior School - 27th June to 9th July 2009: Environment Awareness
Programmes were held. It included Slogan, Writing, an Exhibition on “The
Earth Our Green Planet”, was put up by students of Classes III & IV. The
Exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. E. Thomas – Vice Principal (Academics).
Other actives included a presentation on how we can save our environment
by Earthsmiles.net, drawing competition, skits, a special choreography
with the song ‘What a wonderful world’ and planting of saplings in the
school.

Junior School – July 2009: Mathematic Quiz was conducted for students of
classes V & VI. The results are as follows:
1st – Buntain House – 95 points
2nd – Hogan House – 68 points
3rd – Greenaway House – 67 points
4th – Greisen House – 63 points

Junior School (Afternoon Session) – July 2009: The Spelling Bee Contest
1st – Buntain House – 88 points

Club is supporting a CINI Asha programme “Each One Teach One”. Members of the DYC Club along with other students belonging to different clubs are involved in teaching underprivileged children between age group 4yrs. – 15 yrs. This unique programme commenced on April 2009. It is held twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) between 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. more pics
